Hamilton Hills is blessed with a great group of volunteers that make VBS a reality each summer for over 200 kids. Age-specific programs are presented for children from age four through 5th grade. We have a great time singing, laughing, learning, and we have a special missions project which is the object of our VBS offering. It's all a lot of fun and over way too soon.
This year VBS is June 20th - 24th from 9 am until noon and the theme is Gospel Light's "SonSurf Beach Bash VBS". Based on five key Bible verses that will change a child’s life—including John 14:6—SonQuest Beach Bash VBS transports young minds to explore the wonders of the beach and to discover the big answers to their big questions about Jesus. During the week the children will learn five essential Bible verses that will help them understand who Jesus is and why they need Him.
Day 1: Who is Jesus?
Day 2: Why can I trust Jesus?
Day 4: How can Jesus help me when I mess up?
Day 5: What does Jesus want me to do?
VBS is an important ministry in the life of our church because it has such an impact on so many young lives. We hope your young ones are able to be part of our VBS this summer. We're always glad to have parents visit during the week. So, feel free to stay for awhile with us one day to see what it is all about. It's another way you can get a taste of our children's ministries at Hamilton Hills.
