Missions

We believe that God is using Hamilton Hills Baptist Church to change our world for Christ. We also believe that the Great Commission is not an elective but a command to be followed. Therefore, we are committed to sharing Christ through world missions. 

We set aside 10% of our general fund giving for missions. Eighty-percent of the missions fund is available for supporting missionaries financially on a monthly basis. Twenty-percent of the fund is used to make one-time gifts to a wide variety of projects and ministries around the world.

Our strategy follows the example of Acts 1:8 to be a witness in our Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends fo the earth. This is why we aim to support three different types of minstries (church planting, leadership training, and compassion ministry) in three different geographical areas (Central & South America/Caribean, the 10/40 window, and the United States/other). This strategy enables us to have a broad spectrum of influence.

Here at home we work hard to educate and mobilize God’s people for the ministry.  We do this through an annual mission conference, short term mission trips, and exposure to what God is doing through missionaries.
